Why can't I buy just one item?

We pack and price everything as complete kits. It's how we keep costs down and it's the whole point of the shop — you order once and the school list is done, rather than hunting for a sharpener in week three. If you want a specific mix, use Build your own bundle and pick your items from there.

What's the smallest custom bundle?

Three items. Pick four or more and 10% comes off automatically.

Can I see what's inside before I buy?

Yes — every bundle on the bundles page has a “What's inside” button that lists every item and quantity.

Do you sell refills?

Yes. Once you've bought a bundle you can reorder any of its consumable parts — pencils, notebooks, erasers — as a refill pack, so you're not buying another pouch you don't need.

Materials

What makes it “organic”?

Paper is post-consumer recycled or FSC-certified. Pencils are raw FSC wood with no plastic lacquer. Erasers are natural rubber, rulers are bamboo, pouches are cotton canvas. Printing uses soy and water-based inks. Packaging is kraft board and paper tape — no plastic anywhere in the box.

Is it safe for young children?

Every item meets EN71 toy-safety standards and uses non-toxic pigments. That said, stationery isn't a toy — sharpeners hold a blade and bundles for older children contain small parts. Supervise under-5s.

Why does the colour vary?

Recycled paper and kraft board come out slightly different in every batch, depending on what went into the pulp. It's a sign it's genuinely recycled rather than dyed to look that way.

Delivery and returns

How fast is delivery?

UK standard is 2–4 working days after dispatch, and dispatch is usually same or next working day. Full detail on the Shipping policy page.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Yes, worldwide. Import duties in the destination country are the customer's responsibility.

Can I return a bundle?

Within 30 days, yes — as long as it goes back complete and unused. We can't accept part-returns of a bundle. See the Refund policy.

Schools and bulk

Do you do class sets?

Yes. From 20 bundles you get 15% off, free name labels, class sorting and 30-day invoicing. Email us the number of children and the year group and we'll quote the same day.

Can we get an invoice for the school office?

Yes — bulk orders are invoiced rather than paid by card, subject to approval.
